Tamarind Dhow

The Mombasa Tamarind is undoubtedly one of Africa’s finest sea food restaurants. Live sea food from the Indian Ocean is prepared to perfection from a variety of exotic European, Eastern and Swahili recipes. Idyllically situated on a cliff top overlooking the old Mombasa Harbor, you can savour the ocean scented magic whilst dining outdoors under the tropical sky. Transfer from your hotel to the Tamarind jetty where the Arab dhow is anchored, ready to sail. The dhow passes the floodlit area of the Old Harbor and Tudor Creek. Dinner is prepared by the chefs, as you enjoy the sunset and listen to the music of a live band. After a delicious meal, the anchor is dropped. Dance to the strains of the resident band, returning to the jetty for transfer back to your hotel.
